An adult dragonfly can propel itself in six directions. They are strong, agile fliers. I marvel at their beauty, especially their iridescent wings. When a dragonfly rests, as in this sculpture, they are unable to fold their wings and hold them away from their body. They are found in all countries but Antarctica.
